This article examines whether and how youth NGOs in Brčko District approached the issue of the ethnic distance between young people who participated in their programs. This study examined the values and attitudes towards peers of other ethnicities in 60 young people (30 that have participated in NGO activities and 30 that have not) in order to measure the influence of NGOs on the ethnic distance between young people who have participated in NGO activities and the ones that did not.
